ABSTRACT

O objetivo desse estudo foi avaliar os efeitos do programa FIFA 11+ sobre o controle postural e a performance funcional de membros inferiores, em atletas de futsal sub-13. Participaram 15 atletas do sexo masculino (11 a 13 anos de idade), integrantes da equipe Uruguaiana, em treinamento regular, avaliados pré e pós-teste. O controle postural foi avaliado através da posturografia dinâmica computadorizada, incluindo os testes de organização sensorial (TOS), constituído de seis condições, no qual as condições 1, 3 e 6 avaliam o sistema visual, proprioceptivo e vestibular, a condição 2 e 5 avaliam o sistema proprioceptivo e vestibular e a condição 4 avalia o sistema proprioceptivo. A avaliação da performance funcional dos membros inferiores foi analisada pelo protocolo Hop Test. O protocolo FIFA11+ foi aplicado durante 21 semanas, com frequência de 2x por semana e duração aproximada de 20 minutos, antes do início de cada treino regular dos atletas. Houve melhora do controle postural dos atletas pós-intervenção, nas condições 1, 2 e 6 dos TOS. Houve melhora também nos testes de desempenho funcional, especialmente no lado dominante. O protocolo FIFA 11+ contribuiu para a melhora do controle postural e performance funcional em atletas de futsal sub-13.(AU)


To aim of this study was evaluate the effects of the FIFA 11+ program on postural balance and functional performance of the lower limbs, in indoor soccer players U-13. 15 male players, aged 11 to 13 years old, members of Uruguaiana team, in regular training, participed of this study, evaluated pre and post-intervention. Balance was assessed using computerized dynamic posturography, including sensory organization test (SOT), made up of six conditions in which condition 1, 3 and 6 evaluates the visual, proprioceptive and vestibular system, the condition 2 and 5 evaluates the proprioceptive and vestibular system and the condition 4 evaluates the proprioceptive system. The evaluation of the functional performance of the lower limbs was analyzed by tests: Single Hop Test; Triple Hop Test; Cross-over Hop Test and Timed Hop Test. FIFA11 + program was applied for 21 weeks, often 2 times a week and last approximately 20 minutes before the beginning of each regular training of athletes. There was an improvement in postural balance of the post-intervention athletes, the conditions 1, 2 and 6 of the SOT.There was also improvement in functional performance tests, especially on the dominant side. The FIFA 11+ protocol contributed to the improvement of postural balance, functional performance and increased muscle strength of knee in indoor soccer players U-13.(AU)
